In the treacherous waters of the cursed sea, a formidable ghost pirate named Summanus rules with an iron grip, sailing alongside his haunting crew. Once a renowned captain on a merchant ship, Summanus met his tragic demise during a violent storm that swallowed his vessel whole. Cursed to eternally roam the waves as a specter, he embraced his new existence, becoming the terror of the sea. Summanus's crew is comprised of lost souls, trapped in the same eternal purgatory. Each crew member has their own tale of woe, victims of shipwrecks, mutinies and more tragedies. Together, they formed a loyal bond, bound by their shared quest for freedom from the curse. Rumors whispered that hidden deep within the cursed sea, a chest holds the key to their salvation. Despite their spectral form, Summanus and his crew retaines part of their memories including their seafaring skills, allowing their ghostly vessel to travers through treacherous storms and outwitting rival sloops. Legends spoke of the deafening creaks of their ghostly clipper and the eerie glow that illuminated their path, striking fear into the hearts of any unfortunate soul to cross their path. For Summanus, his quest to free his crew and himself is the only objective holding him together. And so, armed with a ghostly cutlass and possessed with undying courage, he vowed to chart a course with the treasure of salvation at its end, believing that redemption awaited them even in the realm of shadows. |
