An undead gentleman of the utmost dishonour. A self-admitted scoundrel, true, but one with nothing to hide. An honest cad can be extremely endearing, so he says. And its certainly true that Khonsu allows him to stay in the troupe on the grounds that the goods he trades to their customers are not necessarily immoral though everyone knows the slimy spiral is most certainly concerned with appearances and such things being used against him rather than anything to do with morals, but certainly have ended up in Cambay's claws due to their grubby histories.

Ancient curses, unuttered for centuries; exotic venoms sourced from the windswept delta; half crumbling skulls from the second age, these treasures are not sought after by well-intentioned dragons. However, Cambay's main clientele consists of curators wishing to squirrel specimens into dusty collections, or scientists needing dicey ingredients for their experiments. Nosey, studious Light dragons, ones who prod about his gaunt eye-sockets and protruding, dry ribs.

Cambay refuses to recount his resurrection. Nasty business. He covers the holes in his throat with cravats and the points of his ribs under a fine, if not musty, over-coat. He wears rich perfumes and invests in the finest incense, both of which he cannot smell himself. Cambay believes in chivalry, caring deeply about manners and keeping up appearances. Though he isn't opposed to using foul odour and tattered flesh as a means of intimidation.
He has been known to flirt with Jenhova, whether she returns his sentiments are a mystery.
