Biography
Lore notes:
- Got permission to keep and use their sword if necessary from the Lightweaver herself. He's really not the divine retribution type though, so they mostly keep it for display.
- Looks out for Veritas, they know that he's an angel too and that he's much more naïve than they are.
- A better liar than Veritas, but doesn't do it very often.
Putting clan lore ideas in their bio for now
THE CITY:
- City in the Sunbeam Ruins.
- Has a river running through it.
THE TEMPLES
- City has a very large temple to the Lightweaver (maybe a cathedral?)
- other smaller temples dedicated to the other deities, each with usually only one or two dedicated priests that maintain the grounds. While worship of the Lightweaver is most common, worship of other deities is not frowned upon.
THE LIBRARY
- In the city centre, atop a hill (more of a plateau probably), stands a huge library.
- Either has a courtyard in the middle or has a garden immediately outside the front door (maybe even both idk). Either way the garden is well maintained and has fountains dotted around it, as well as several seating areas for individual or group reading/studying. The largest fountain is is the centre (mmm concentric structures) and depicts the Lightweaver (might try to draw it once exams are over).
- Antares is the head librarian, but the place is so big that there is a whole team of librarians that he oversees.
- Will probably also get some dragons to form a small team of gardeners.
RELIGION AND THE DEITIES:
- The Lightweaver (and the other deities) have always been absent. These days, genuine encounters with a deity are so rare as to be non-existent, and those that claim to have had them are either praised as prophets, or told they must be confused or liars.
- Even the angels have never actually seen their deities, they receive orders by hearing them as if someone was whispering into their ears (though no one is actually there) or through other angels of higher ranks that have heard the whispers.
- As there is no direct evidence of deities, (only their passive effects on the world, like the Tidelord's prophecy bubbles) agnosticism and atheism are not uncommon beliefs. There are even a few angels that have wavered in their faith, believing their kind to be formed from primordial residual magic as opposed to actual divine intervention.
- At no point in my lore do I want to actually state if the deities are real or not, it will just be left up to interpretation as an exploration of the concept of faith.
- Also have some kind of sect that believes the deities are just regular dragons that found the secret to great power. This group is trying to find the secret themselves.

Exalting Hymn to the service of the Stormcatcher will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
