born to a family in the deep crevasses of the southern icefields

- born bullheaded, but with weak, atrophied wings, which she was quite upset about given all the sheer cliffs and high peaks of the southern icefield, ivory felt shackled in her own home
- falling behind the rest of her family, she grew determined to fly like any dragon should and stubbornly researched day in and day out to find a way to achieve flight
- perhaps it was her lightning ancestry making her more industrious, deep down, she quickly turned from pushing her physical body to understanding flight from a fundamental, academic sense, and crafting enhancements to achieve flight at last
- finally her enhancements were successful and she flew for the first time, soaring into the sky and never looking back. she didn't want to stay in once place when she finally had the sky at her clawtips, not when she felt so profoundly behind in seeing the world, so she took off traveling for years
- finally after she had seen all of sornieth, she grew restless again, and ivory had an idea--to share her immense knowledge on all the fundamentals of flight so no dragon will have to remain grounded as she did
- she joined the clan of the wounded, noting how many dragons had disabilities in some degree or dragons who were otherwise behind, so she used her knowledge of prosthetics, enhancements, and flight fundamentals to help struggling dragons which eventually turned to her being appointed to the tutors of tending to instruct hatchlings on flight, again ensuring no dragon fell behind in those milestones and no one stayed grounded who didn't want to
