Fruitbat

Fruitbat was always one to take on more than she could handle. When the young Guardian left her home clan, her mother warned her to find a reasonable Charge--a treasure, a site, even another dragon. Not a new clan of more than 100 dragons.

Of course, it didn't start out that way. At first, it was just Rosie. A pretty pink Skydancer that Fruitbat would have done anything for. Anything, including adding Rosie's friend Pandora to her Charge. And Dipper, and his sister Mabel. And soon, she was Charged with an entire clan, ever growing.

Soon, she became overwhelmed. There were just too many dragons, she couldn't keep up with them all. One of her clanmates, The Wizard, came to her with a solution. She could undergo a spell that would transform her into an ancient breed known as an Auraboa, granting her access to the Loop. This shared consciousness would give her the ability to know what was going on all over Sornieth, and use that information to protect her clan.

Of course, she took the opportunity. Because, in her eyes, she is not her clan's leader. She is their Guardian, and always will be, no matter what shape her body takes.
