Krampus started out as a formless monster of shadow, fire, and brimstone. He wandered aimlessly for thousands of years, seeing the different ages as he went. Finally, one day, he took form after a Gaoler, feeling more connected to that species. With chains adorning his body he wandered the land, seeing many clans rise and fall. Despite the fact he was a being of fire and death, he greatly enjoyed the beautifully cold winter, finding the good in it.


He also came to deeply enjoy the holiday of Christmas. Finding it's meanings incredibly important, and he went out of his way to punish those who misbehaved on the holiday or those who didn't follow the holiday's meaning. When he was found by Mythic she offered him to join her clan, he agreed believing this would just be another clan to watch. He was made the warden of their prison, leading Elena and Bones.


While he was there, he met a Spiral dragon named Ireland who was so insistent on being his friend. He eventually found it endearing and welcomed her close. Then he learned an interesting fact, she was immortal like he was. That brought him closer to her, the two ended up falling in love. He's well aware they can't breed but that doesn't cut out adoption, plus, there were plenty of dragons who needed some parents. Included one named Solar.
