An enigmatic dragon, Haeln is a creature of the forest and the night, more
at home in an ancient moonlit glen than in the carved halls of the clan.
She is intelligent beyond her years and good at playing tricks,
though her loyalty to the clan is unquestionable. She owes a
great debt to Eliavas that no one knows the details of and
so she would defend the clan to the death.
Her affinity for birds is unnerving to most, as the small
creatures sit nestled among her cloak and wings, beady eyes
unblinking, watching the every move of anyone who crosses near.
She began taming and collecting birds when she lived deep
in the Tangled Wood and they are endlessly devoted to her.
She lived many years with her mate, Leon,
having arrived to the clan by his side
and the pair were truly inseparable though
one would hesitate to say it was true love.
After a fight gone wrong, Leon was poisoned
by a Serthis and slowly wasted away
over a number of weeks until he died
a shadow of what he once was.
Haeln and Vanirha, though they had not
been very close before, as Haeln
rarely spoke with any dragon but Leon,
even her fellow fighter,
found a replacement in young Seeker,
a Tundra Vanirha stole from a strange nest.
Vanirha claims the Tundra carries Leon's
spirit inside of her, but Haeln refuses to
believe such a thing. But treats Seeker
with affection or as much affection as
her twisted heart can manage...
