Lore Morning Glory could be considered a more unusual Guardian, as she - after completing her Search - founded her own clan in the Fishspine Reef rather than joining an already-existing one. The somewhat young monarch originally hatched in the Tsunami Flats, as part of an enormous clan with barely space to spare. Almost the moment she could, Morning Glory left on her Search for a charge. Perhaps luckily, it only took a few weeks. She stayed in the Sunbeam Ruins and the Tangled Wood for a while, but returned to the Sea of a Thousand Currents after about a month after finding herself longing for the water - to interact with dragons of her own Flight. And perhaps... her charge was in the depths. Morning Glory visited Flotsam Town for a few days, but decided that this wasn't the right place, and so she went down - down into the waters, to the layers below the surface. While the Drowned Sanctum allowed her to find Cosmos, her lovely Fae mate who insisted on accompanying her to her charge, it didn't hold the answer to her big question. Where could her charge be? Morning Glory knew it was in the Sea of a Thousand Currents. She could feel it in her bones. Finally, only a week later she reached the Fishspine Reef: a place that her elders had told her tales of as a hatchling, of how the giant bones were relics of the planet's ancient past. A place where her Search concluded. Fate was sealed. When Morning Glory found that sackdoll resembling the Tidelord, she knew this was it. This was the thing that she was supposed to protect - she just knew it, and so here, near one of the giant bones of the Fishspine Reef, was where she carved out the first den of her and Cosmos' clan. A clan of which would practically become her second charge. |
