Beryll

Beryll wishes she could consider herself blessed. She is a daughter of Inheritor, how could that be a bad thing? But she isn't a true daughter, but instead, one conceived out of an affair. Her benevolent mother had her sent away to Hellebore, where she has suffered all her life.

"Doesn't it make you angry? Doesn't it fill you with rage? Wouldn't revenge taste so very sweet?"

It would, oh, of course it would.

"It's like my wings have been clipped. She let me see the sky, the stars, the beauty of the world, and then took it all away. I was just a hatchling, but I'll never forget what magnificent things I'd seen. I want to see the sky again, I want to fly again, please."

But what was once a dream to return to the palace in her birthright has slowly twisted her with hatred. The pure and holy magic that runs through her veins has been soured over the years.
