Ramila

Ramila was one of two hatchlings born between Rhune, an earnest and (she would say embarrassingly) loving Imperial; and Jizara, who is the First daughter of Nighte and Mercor and heir to the Winterling clan. Rhune spent months, if not years, wooing Jizara to his side, only for her to leave him heart-broken at the nest. Even in his anguish, he cherished Ramila and her brother Starwings, raising them as best he could.

Rhune still has close ties to his birth clan of Ripcurl, and when they were old enough to make the flight he took both Ramila and Starwings to meet their grandparents. Ramila was entranced by the exotic climes of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, and vowed that she would spend as much time traveling the world as possible.

She was the one who created the Winterling diplomatic corps, a force that until now had been quite lacking among the isolationist Winterlings. But the Founders, her maternal grandparents, know to reward hard work, and Ramila now has several dragons serving under her command, spreading the name of the Winterlings far and wide.
