Tailor "A dragon that has lost its pearl believes that it has lost its identity. Pearlless dragons are outcast from Pearlcatcher society, and must make their way in the world begging from lesser dragon species." Satiran is selectively mute and slow moving. Whether they lost their pearl or simply were never given the chance to create one they do not know, but it has still left them feeling strange and being outcast by many other pearlcatchers. When they arrived seeking Sanctuary some dragons wanted him exiled - most notably Luminescent - but that decision was overridden by Shadow herself. Thankfully the dragons here are kind and the pearlcatchers odd so Satiran managed to find a niche. A part of them still wants to try and create a fake pearl - by either carving one from gems or swimming to the deepest depths of the ocean to find the largest known to dragon-kind, but they know it wouldn't be the same. The lack of a pearl feels like a hole in their soul that no fancy ornament will fulfill. They're happy enough adjusting clothing though.

As of 21/12/2022, there are 71 dragons with this colour combination. Only 14 are unexalted. Satiran is the 70th dragon to show this colour combination. They are 2 off an XXY. They can be found trailing after Bicorn and Lywn whenever they are not in their own room - the two being most kind and the two who sponsored their stay in Sanctuary until they got their own space. Twin Pearls - Gen.2 Aquaris × Spectra -> Wrath -> Me! Aquaris was born with one pearl. That is the secret only one dragon ever knew. Aquaria, his twin sister. His second pearl was obtained from his first kill, a Pearlcatcher hatchling only a bit younger than him. He carried it as a trophy, and later when others assumed he was special because he was apparently born with two pearls, he changed his story. He was special. He had two pearls. |
