Josphina works alongside Maya watching over the hatchlings in the nursery. She is the stricter of the two, making sure the hatchlings learn proper manners. Josephina is quick to remind the hatchlings to tuck in their tails in when they sit and say "thank you" when given food, but underneath her no-nonsense attitude lies a genuine sense of humor and a warmth. She fusses ove whether or not her hatchlings have eaten and if they're warm enough in their nests, and god forbid any of adult clan members make a hatchling cry. Josephina has been known to loudly chew out parents who don't visit their children often enough (but only out of earshot of said children).

Her clanmates see her as practical, hardworking, and opinionated, and she does not fail to live up to these expectations.

Josephina was raised in a different part of the viridian labyrinth and speaks with a distinct accent. She often grace the hatchlings with tales of growing up in her cliffside home and the traditional folklore of the region. Her clanmates her tried to ask her about why she chose to leave, but any questions about it bring a glint of anger to her eyes and she refuses to answer. What is known about it though, is that they speak an ancient language, different than form of draconic.

Sometimes when she's alone, Josephina will use an old radio to tune into music from her homeland. The music is in a language that no one but her can understand, but her dancing is so graceful and sad that anyone who catches a glimpse of it can't help but be mesmerized.
