Biography
'xTHE FORTY-FIRST CARVINGx'
Carved on the night of Samhain
Thoir (he-rh): East
The guardian lay atop the pedestal, with their head upturned towards the sky.
Like all other statues carved on this night, the guardian stands atop a pedestal with a fire burning in its hearth. The smoke rises through the guardian, billows out and is carried away by the wind. Their maw is wide open, and a column of smoke erupts from it.
The guardian lay straight across the top of the pedestal, with their limbs neatly tucked into themselves. Most notably is the length of their neck. Much longer than other guardians, it allows the statue to upturn their head entirely towards the sky, poised almost like that of an, ah. . . of an Imperial!
The guardian's horns, while just as long as usual, do oddly begin to branch out, akin to antlers. The tail is very long, draping over the back of the pedestal, and up again. The wings, while normal in appearance, are grand in size; they're stretched out and to the side, forming an overhang of shelter beneath either one. Finally, beneath their nostrils, there appear to be short, but purposefully carved, whiskers.
Accompanying this unique guardian is an orb, carved of polished moonstone, which, astoundingly, is floating all on its own. It seems that the longer it is exposed to the light of the moon, the more it begins to glow. . .
Most notably, no matter which way the statue is situated,
the guardian will always turn to face the East.
Strange, indeed. . .
If you would no longer like your guardian, please consider returning them to me (161427), or consider finding a new home for them yourself.

The pedestal, carved from the earth,
was formed into a simple hearth. Within it, fire blazes bright on this dark and special night. Feed the flame with sticks and weeds, fallen branches, shells of seeds. Any bit that’s long been shed— Any plant already dead. |
When the blaze is rightly fed—
dancing orange, yellow, red— the smoke will rise throughout the stone, through the statue, sat alone. And, with the soul of Earth and Light, it exhales smoke into the night. At Harvest’s end, and Frost’s begin; commence the festival, Sauin. |
