Line is the innkeeper of the inn that resides the Aboveground section of the Weeping Willow Clan. He is a very cheery dragon, often trying his best to make travelers and newcomers to the clan feel welcome in lieu of his partner Hook's snarky attitude. While Line does not know the Underground as well as Hook, he can usually point someone in the right direction of their destination in the Aboveground. However, he is also very easily flustered, often losing his train of thought when given a compliment (especially from Hook, who almost never gives compliments).

Like most other Undertides, Line is often seen as an Undergrounder, coming up from the depths of the Leviathan Trench. However, he prefers to spend most, if not all, of his time Aboveground, either tending to the inn or visiting other Aboveground denizens. However, he had descended to the Underground on occasion with Hook. He tends to get anxious whenever Hook isn't back within a short period of time, making him act more like a Spiral than an Undertide - a habit that has gotten him the playful nickname of "Knotty Undertide".
