═══════════════════════════════════════════════════Liva was born in a clan that honored the Mistral Jamboree heavily, involving festivities that extended both before and after the official celebration in a way not totally dissimilar from this year's. Since then, many things in her life have changed drastically, one of which that she has come to enjoy the icy Crystalline Gala more than any other festival. The best part for Liva is probably carving blocks of ice into sculptures that melt within a day or so. Giant blocks line the pathways of the clan, with some sitting outside of dragons' dens and others positioned next to public attractions like frozen fountains or non meltable statues, of stone. It's a fun project to do with her best friends, Fara and Jaqi. In the morning, the three have an ice skating competition for the privilege of choosing which design their ice block will take. (This January, Liva hadn't managed to squeeze out a victory, instead ending up chipping away flakes of ice on a sculpture that was supposed to resemble "An owlcat having tea with a pupowl and they're madly in love"-- the genius design chosen by Fara.) Overall, Liva can't be totally sure why she loves the Gala so much. Perhaps it's just how she finds it to be an excuse to bring out her snow globe collection that is normally housed deep in her hoard and show it off to every dragon willing to listen. Or, maybe she loves the way snow looks as it falls on her feathers and the way the older dragons in the clan are quick to wrap warm blankets around the trio and offer them hot chocolate.
