    As the clan treasurer, Gale decides who can withdraw treasure from the vault (and for what reasons). Despite his shrewd nature, he is incredibly self centered and hates to lose. Few clan mates get along with him at all, most notably Perseus, the clan ambassador. Altercations involving the two often drag in most all other members of the clan before some meager agreement can be reached.

    Gale's pride has led to his own misfortune many times, notably with his familiar. He had captured the male harpy as a dig at a local flock, but was astonished to find that the harpy preferred the chaotic life among dragons to the restrictive life among his own kind. This posed an issue when the flock pressured them to return the harpy who would not leave. The clan matriarch Khaos decided that "you reap what you sow" and left Gale to fend off angry harpies whenever he ventures beyond the guard patrols.
