While he may be shy, he's sure of himself and his abilities. He lets the wind currents carry him high into the foggy sky, often singing or practicing his rituals (and sometimes soaking some poor unsuspecting dragon with a stray raincloud.) He carries a lot of love for his familiar Pepper, who often sits on his shoulder regardless of rain or shine.

Appearance:
Hoki has long, abyss colored hair with vibrantly vermillion ends. Snow-white scales are laced with dark lead, which flows upward into a lighter color following the striations of his wings. The beetle-like apical wings on Hoki's head, arms, elytron, & legs start with a darker scarlet color that blends into a transparent cool grey. Most striking are Hoki's eyes, which are a bright, pastel green with slitted pupils that glow with energy when Hoki begins his ritual of rainbringing.
Likes:
Going snail picking with Pepper, practicing his rain summoning, & going to the shops at Astertown with his father.
 		Dislikes:
Lava floes, especially the ones that look like solid ground but suddenly dip into fiery liquid hell.
Lore:
Hoki lives with his adoptive father, Ren, in a small cabin near the edge of the Steppe. With Ren's guidance, Hoki has begun to learn how to control his natural magic & helps bring the rains in for planting season. Accompanied by his loyal familiar Pepper, Hoki enjoys exploring the plains below the Steppe and eating white-lipped snails (sadly poisonous to Ren, who greatly enjoys the smell of roasted snails - though he makes do with the banded variety.)
