Angelbane

Run, my dear... Run until you find that which blooms in the night.

Angelbane lived a peaceful life with her mother and father in the tundra, things were nice, mundane and sometimes boring, but nice. Until, that is, the day their small little clan was attacked, a band of Beastclan rogues attacked in the middle of the night. The scenes from that night burnt into Angelbane's mind as she ran as fast as she could. Her father had went ahead to try and help keep the intruders at bay, so he wasnt able to help when Angelbane and her mother were attacked by three of the invaders. The young dragon had never heard her mother scream at her like she had.

So she ran, and ran, and ran. When her legs grew tired she'd flitter a few feet off the ground, still young and not fully used to her wings yet. after night had fell, the newly orphaned tundra whelp collapsed to the gorund, no longer able to progress any further and losing the will to do so all together. It was in this moment of utter despair that all of a sudden a voice entered her mind. 'Run, my dear... Run until you find that which blooms in the night'

A sparkle of hope, or the twinkling of Night's first star, whatever it was it was enough to bring Angelbane to her feet. "I'll do it!" she yelled up at the vast sky as she took the first steps. "I'll find it," her pace quickens, her wings unfold as her front legs lift off the ground. "I'll find it for you Mama! I promise!!" A powerful pump of determined wings, as Angelbane takes off, unknowingly heeding the Gladekeeper's advice and heading straight for a dense wooded oasis.
