______ Despite her gruesome appearance, Delilah is soft-spoken and agreeable. She tends to the members of the Council and to the citizens as an older sister, making sure that they are happy and healthy at all time. Delilah, as the representative of Plague, is resilient and focused on Cermestro’s continued survival. This extends to everything and anything living within the city’s borders. She has extensive knowledge of medicine, and a surprising amount of knowledge about medical afflictions. Always caring and affectionate, there doesn’t seem to be a single dragon who dislikes her.

______ After Delilah had entered the anomaly, she began noticing changes in her physiology as a Skinless dragon. As she has been here for a while, her weakness for water has greatly diminished and the layer of blood that surrounds her body is less sticky and more like a thin layer of proto-skin. Delilah is absolutely fascinated by these changes, and has started a journal to monitor her changes and those of the other council members. She thinks it’s in Cermestro’s best interest to keep the loop intact, mostly because she thinks the city must survive above all.

It is rumored that long ago, Skinless stripped the flesh from their lean bodies of their own volition, as a message to the rest of dragonkind that they were invulnerable to pain, and could not be frightened by threat of violence. It has since become an inherent trait. Despite the horrifying appearance of the the Skinless, rest assured that they are not in discomfort. The exposed nerve endings of muscular and connective tissues are far less sensitive. Their surface vessels release rivulets of fresh blood, which help to cleanse dirt and bacteria amassed in a typical day. This emission is constant and accumulates as a tacky, clotted substance which covers them like a protective layer. They will avoid water at all costs, as washing away the bloody coating will leave them vulnerable to native infections.
