"Oh. Oh." Miyako murmured, glaring at the tiny hatchling and fixing her glasses as it babbled in reply. "I-It tried to attack me!" Aelius huffed from a distant corner, only to be glared at once by the others. There was a pause before Alyssum spoke up with a scoff. "I could see some dragons looking at you as an easy target~ Especially some... child of all things." Aelius let out a panicked squeak and dashed into a different room, causing Alyssum to snicker and follow after. The small child continued with their babbles, now being gazed at closer by Miyako and Gratitude. "other than its questionable attitude..." Miyako began, "the baby seems well. I'll tell Alyssum to... keep an eye on it for now and see if anything else happens." Gratitude tilted her head a bit. "Alyssum? But I thought Aelius was caring for him. With him now being the fittest for the work and all." Miyako chuckled in response. "It's a ferocious one, it wouldn't be safe! We'll simply wait a bit longer to see if he gets his act together. If not..." She side-eyed the small child before hastily stepping away and out of the room. Gratitude followed her silently, leaving Caern alone with himself.
