Flip

After observing the pink-and-purple dragon for a while, fifty-third dragon to ask is finally overcome with curiosity. Approaching the inter-clan ambassador nervously, they ask, "Why is he wearing a bow?"
Isabeau smiles, mirth in her kind eyes. "I hear that if you bring him a snack, he will tell you. Only meat, mind."
Confused, the dragon soon returns with a tasty roan mouse and offers it to Flip. He accepts it with great flourish, and as he wolfs it down they broach their request. "So... what's up with the bow?"
"I lost a bet with Lorcan," Flip replies, "and after I got over the embarrassment I discovered that it's a great way to get free food!"

Coming from a dark Arcane clan, Flip is a deranged but fun-loving dragon. The first dragon to accept a nocturne as a mate, his crazy behavior keeps him on his toes, and while he has a history of wild living he's managed to temper his craziness to a dull roar.

He earns his keep by doing odd-jobs (although nobody wants to leave him on hatchling duty!) and is a professional comedian, along with an envoy for the Arcane flight. Sometimes it's hard to tell whether he's acting or not, since he's so eccentric anyway, but he is loved by most in the clan.

He's had many flings, both male and female alike, but despite his strong friendship with Lorcan he seems to have found a soulmate with Fabian. When he's not getting up to mischief with Lorcan, he and Fabian are tinkering with spells and getting into trouble with their Arcane antics.
