Verdict pretends sometimes that she doesn’t have a viewpoint. No matter what the issue is, as close to home or as indifference-inducing, she stores her personal opinions and judgements and scans every single part of the situation. She sees sides of the argument that the participants don’t even realize exist; she uses fact and quote and five different accounts of the same event to decide on her judgements; and she backtracks to make sure she didn’t leap to any conclusions and applies emotion (and even then only the feelings of the dragons involved, not her own) as a very last resort. As a result, her verdicts are sensible and objectively correct almost every time.
Dragons who are acquainted with her describe her with words such as “serious, perfect, cold” - dragons who know her say she’s insightful and good at control. Because if she lets someone into her life enough for them to be around her for long, they’ll see little bits and moments where it’s clear that she does have an opinion, does have something to say, but refrains for what she believes is the greater good.

Because if there’s one thing that you can say Verdict believes in wholly and completely, it’s impartiality. Bias is the enemy, for her, and decisions have to be made with deliberation and deep thought. Fortunately, she has enough skill and practice in making these decisions that at this point she can think through options faster than most dragons take to choose the words for their response.

In her free time, she tinkers. She’s also recently joined a convoy, and runs a little apparel sales thing with Kvetch on the side.

The one loose string is Passion. Verdict was very careful to avoid feeling strongly enough about anything to let it affect her emotions, but Passion cares wantonly and openly like he doesn’t even, well, care about what is objective and true. Dragons often respect her choices, even when they don’t agree - Passion is a force, a fact of existence that she can’t even begin to push against.

She’s okay with leaving this one thread hanging open. He’s worth it.
