Biography
Vaer the Pale Fairyborn
Insect Catcher
Demiboy
Homoromantic Homosexual
Vaer has had perhaps one of the oddest upbringings possible; he was raised by fairy folk in the Woodland Path. As a hatchling, he was isolated from other dragons. Surrounded by the vain tricksters, he himself grew kind of precocious. When he grew up, he found the fairyfolk could no longer care for him.
At first, he set off for the territory of the Lightweaver, who he had learned was his patron goddess. However, Vaer didn't fit in among the intelligent and studious light dragons. He decided to continue his search for a home among other dragons. He was rewarded when he found Clan Ethereal. The odd band of ragtags welcomed him, despite his antisocial jerkish behavior. He doesn't always feel at home without his family of fairies, but he manages.
He is an insect catcher for the clan, a role which he often gets distracted from. It's not uncommon for another insect catcher to bump into him staring at a butterfly.
Vaer is pompous and enjoys pranking other dragons. He's kind of a snob, but he behaves in a childish manner. He has some trouble understanding and fitting into the social structures of the dragons. The only dragon who can really stand his company is Faolin.
