Adelaide
Two went in and one came home,
We didn't go in there alone
There are monsters in the Everfrozen Woods. Things with gnashing teeth and beasts with long claws fit for rending meat from bone. Things haunt these woods, wisps of creatures-who-once-were. Sector 42 is a tragedy in motion, a living mosaic of grief, and it attracts the worst kind of beings. Some say even the wolves without teeth still roam the woods, dangerous in their sheep's guise.

Adelaide didn't inherit her mother's curse, but she gained something else; an ability to see the shadow-like wisps of the dead who refuse to pass on. Her parents warned her against telling anyone of her powers, as grief-stricken dragons may act irrationally if given the chance to reconnect or bind their dead loved ones. Desperation to figure out how to break her bloodline's curse, she traveled far and wide, to the icy Southern territories where her mother was born. There she met a strange man named Augustine, who holds a wolf-like beast within him, and Adelaide realized she'd finally found what she was looking for. Whether or not Augustine, or his beholden beast, holds any answers is yet to be seen.

Adelaide has taken no mate, though if any of her children were to be born on the full moon as imperials, they would inherit the Barghest curse. (Adelaide is 5th Gen Roe, so her offspring are 6th Gen Roe)
