Many say light is a nonliving entity. Yet in its intangible state, it is simply dormant, static as it shines down. Yet there are moments in which the light regains more of a corporeal form, glistening far above the surface in beautiful patterns and a hue of spectacular colors.

They are known as the Light-Touched.

The Light-Touched originally do not have names, instead they recognize each other with melodies that are too high to be picked up by dragons. Each Light-Touched has a unique one, identifiable in the first few notes. As their speech patterns do not contain words, if one descends on the planet below, they tend to remain quiet as they try and learn the language.

Soraka was no different when he first gave into his curiosity. The bright and colorful world with its many inhabitants had always peaked his interest. Such interesting creatures, with their lives being played out before like his own personal theater. So begun his journey onto the surface of the planet, taking the form of the first creature he spotted. With scales the color of gleaming ivory and gold, he took the guise of a large Imperial.
