Molten Lava Dragon

These dragons are made of searing hot rock, and veins of escaped lava are spread out along their body. These lava veins cool to a black or heat up to a glowing orange, largely depending on the emotion of the Molten Lava dragon in question. The intense internal temperatures of these dragons allow them to practically be walking forges. They often help out clan blacksmiths, due to their ability to consume ore and regurgitate liquid metal for smelting. When aggravated, the lava veins become intensely bright and hot. Anything that comes in contact with them will likely instantaneously burst into flame. The ability to regurgitate liquid hot metal makes them a terrifying enemy in battle, and it's usually not a good idea to find out firsthand how far they can spit. Very protective of their home clan, whether they were born into the clan or adopted into it, they will do whatever they have to to keep their clans safe. |

She’s another dragon I’ve been stuck on for a while. Her subspecies should in theory give me some handy jumping off points but I’m still struggling. Now my clan doesn’t have a blacksmith yet, and the description mentions blacksmiths, but I don’t get a blacksmith vibe from her. And I don’t get a fighter vibe either. So idk what she’d be doing in my clan, so for now she’s unemployed. Maybe glass. I’ve been thinking about glassmaking ever since this years LightDom BSJ theme. It’s a really practically important job that I’ve never given thought to, and my clan does actually include a lot of glass things, large windows in the cliffsides and glass lanterns like the ones seen in Lanternela (however you spell that) port to light up the tunnels. Now that I’m thinking about it, I think that is actually really a cool idea. She could like eat sand lmao, and spit out glass. Like glass blowing, but literally blowing. That’s actually I think what I’ll do!
