Malachi

Escaped his former clan where he had been purchased from his parents into slavery as a breeder and then had his offspring stolen from him before he had a chance to even bond with them. Now free he's taken up residence in Steambrook, offering anything in exchange for protection from the hunting party sent to bring him back.
He later found his soulmate in a fellow arcane tundra, Tanzen, and shortly after that they adopted a small earth egg found abandoned on the edge of water territory. This egg hatched to be their son, Tristian.
Devoted father, husband, and warrior, Malachi actually is very eccentric and fun loving. He is probably one of the best in the whole lair suited to dealing with hatchlings and so, although he has been trained as an excellent warrior, he has been delegated as broodmother. He really doesn't mind this as his duties include training exaltees in addition to protecting nests and raising younglings up to training age (along with Tanzen who does most of the raising while Mal is out training.) and he really does love spending time with the hatchlings. He loves telling stories of battle and honor while Tanzen fusses over braiding fur.
