Information Name // Phantom -- Origin of name // Phantom’s name OOC comes from the song Phantom by Nate Wants to Battle. He’s pretty sick :). Occupation // Phantom’s work cannot be simplified into a traditional occupation. She is no exorcist, she is no oracle. She sees the dead, though she alone would not have much success with spirits. She and her sister Hush work together to appease the dead, to help their spirits move on. Role // In their retreat, Phantom generally finds herself taking notes on their history. She writes daily in both a personal journal and a retreat record, making notes she deems worthy of writing down. The retreat is little known by the world, but to Phantom, it is her world. Portent// Ears for Evil Ears for Evil// EfE is what allows Phantom to communicate with the dead. She can hear them, but she cannot see them. She spends much of her time ensuring that the spirits of the dead or dying are able to move on, as the retreat tends to attract the sick and wounded.

History Phantom was the last egg to hatch in her mother’s first clutch. She was quite a small hatchling, and continues to be the smallest guardian in her family. She has always shown an interest in what happens after death, and naturally gravitated towards a particular gravestone in the hospice. She soon discovered that the soul of the dragon could not pass on, and at the young age of fledgling, essentially performed an exorcism. Personality Phantom is a quiet dragon, but when she does speak, her voice is powerful. In spite of her size, she is the strongest speaker in her family. This came to her naturally and has been refined by years of speaking to spirits, finding out what is wrong and how to help them move on. She is deeply empathetic, but adjusted to the idea of death and exaltation. It no longer phases her, for the most part. She still mourns the lost, but she knows that the suffering are better off with the mercy of death. -- Likes // Music played through a record player, peaceful silence. -- Dislikes // Loud music, disruptive sounds, wraiths.

Phantom loves her father dearly. He taught her how to dig graves and prepare them for the bodies (some dragons have very specific wishes for after they die), how to check for a pulse, he was there for her after she appeased her first soul. Though they may argue and he may not always understand her, they love each other and he would kill in an instant to protect his daughter if needed.
Like with her father, Phantom adores her mother. She taught Phantom how to read and write, and Phantom got a lot of her moral compass from her mother. Sometimes, to heal the good, you may hurt the bad.
