Personality and Interests

Basil rarely pays much attention to other dragons. He can come off as a typical stuck up pearlcatcher, but it's more that he's got something on his mind. If you can catch him when he isn't lost in thought, he's pretty friendly and curious. He's also a bit awkward since he doesn't have much experience with other dragons.

He can be found in the library, trying to read up on anything that caught his attention. Occasionally this includes etiquette guides, since he is a bit infamous for his gaffes. His main problem is that he doesn't stick with one subject for long. Something will catch his attention and he will drop the current subject of his research.

He would love to be an author, but he still can't decide on what he wants to write about. He also dabbles in a few hobbies, cycling between them as he feels inspired.

Biography

Basil has had his nose in a book from the moment he learned to read. He has an endless curiosity and is constantly pestering the booksellers and librarians for anything new. Every single one in his area will now tell him the moment he steps in if they have anything he might like. He is much stronger than he looks since he will haul as many books as he physically can on a regular basis. He is very proud of the system he came up with to organize his excessive book collection. Going through the card catalog is still a task, but not as bad as having to pull down each tome to check the contents.
