Biography

"I will be adored, tell me that you want me. I won't be ignored, now it's time for my reward!" - Circe.

Circe is a mysterious entity, that much is for certain. She carries herself with a cool, eerie air and seems to be in complete control of every movement of her body, right down to the most minute of twitches.

She is the ringmaster of a traveling circus that feels almost like it's all one big hallucination, a ghost in the night that one stumbles upon and is enraptured by for the whole night, only awakening in the dawn, alone and with a haunted chill lingering in their bones. No one even remembers how her shows went, they just know that deep down, they long to see more of it.

Much like Nivalis, Circe is a dragoness who is spoken of all over Sornieth but mostly dismissed to be folklore, as the dragons who speak of her seem to be dazed and like they're under a spell. An enchantment.

If you ask Circe herself why they end up like that after her shows, she only smiles and says, "It seems they grew too hysteric with glee from my most excellent performance." It's clear that there's something suspect going on, especially given the way she refuses to let anyone from Tellatale come watch her circus. Even Ember, who has asked numerous times to perform as a guest, has been turned down despite her talent that Circe fully acknowledges.

Thanks to her work in the circus, she is also a very good animal tamer and knows how to keep things contained. Occasionally, when there aren't any shows scheduled or practice needed, she will join the Warden in their work of corralling prisoners and bonding with familiars. The Warden tolerates her presence, though they know that one day, she may very well end up as their prisoner.
