Species: Dragon-Coatl

-The firstborn hatchling of a fallen wind matriarch, who grasped for power by stepping on others until they banded together and she vanished in a storm. Not like he was there when it happened, he was never interested in power and had left the minute he was old enough to fly back to the Lightning flight where he was born. Since then he has lived a long, relatively peaceful life, settling down with a mate ( Fissure) and working as a weak but useful mage to help out the clan he lived in. Eventually though, after many years of raising families and living together, Scorch and Fissure grew more distant, and they decided to go their separate ways. While the two remained amicable and hold no hard feelings for each other, Scorch started to feel like he no longer belonged in the clan, and felt the urge to wander elsewhere. When Fissure took a new mate (who for some reason looked oddly familiar), he decided to leave the clan entirely, and traveled around Sornieth, eventually ending up at the Starfall Isles.

-He doesn't entirely know what happened to his siblings, but he assumes that, like most of his kids, they went off to serve one of the Deities. He was the only hatchling in his nest, but he assumes that his mother kept having nests after he left. In fact, he remembers his mother occasionally coming back to the clan to lay nests with his father, and then with a few other coatls in the clan. He didn't spend much time with his father Shimmer before he left to serve the Stormcatcher, but he wonders what happened between his mother and father that caused him to leave the clan, and if they had any feelings for each other to begin with. In fact, he sometimes wonders if the only reason he was born was due to some kind of deal made...

-Doesn't know much about his mother, and never really wants to find out. He doesn't know if she is alive, where she would be, or why he was born in the first place. He doesn't remember much about her anymore from his childhood, but he thinks very poorly of her, considering her to be manipulative and power-hungry, whether or not she acted that way towards him.

-He knows he isn't the most beautiful or brightest coatl to live, and he doesn't care. He's quite old now compared to most dragons he knows, and he's fairly surprised to still be in such good health. Besides, his old mate wasn't as bright either, but she was also quite healthy (and in his opinion, she was and still is quite beautiful).

-Having spent so much time living in a mixed-breed clan, he can understand and speak common draconic as well as read and write it without much difficulty, and he is even able to understand fae (although not too much). He still prefers speaking coatl to those who understand it, and speaks with an accent.

-To be honest he's not adjusting too well to single life, even when he no longer loved Fissure like he used to he was so used to living with someone else that he secretly wanted to live with Fissure out of habit-since she took another mate though he knew he couldn't stay. He's doing his best.
