Eridanus has the power to walk through dreams- both his own and those of other people. Being the smallest member of the Magistry allows him to sneak about unseen, and he rarely attends meetings except when there is interesting news to share. Instead, he approaches his fellow mages in their slumber, imparting messages as privately as one possibly could.

Outside of his duties- which include the seeking of those with aberrant dreams, indicative of infection by the Shade- he spends time trawling the nightmares of hatchlings, chasing away scary beasts and allowing them to rest peacefully.
