curiousity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back

Daughter of two renowned travelers, Ailana went with them on many adventures throughout Sorienth. On one such journey, Ailana was helping sort and categorize their most recent finds of the caravan they were traveling with, when she found herself inexplicably drawn to a particular scroll. No one had opened it yet as they were waiting for a scrier to check it to make sure it was safe. Something about it called to her though. Before anyone could stop her, Ailana opened the scroll, and was enveloped in a strange light. Her body began to shift and change, growing longer and more eel-like. When the light dissipated, she was a breed of dragon none in her clan had ever seen before. Investigation of the scroll (now depleted of magic) revealed her to be a long-lost breed of dragons known as the Undertide
