HAMATE

Being clan leader is tough, but this intense Empress is not afraid to bare some tooth and claw to get her job done, and protect the clan. She's the leader of the battle team, and specializes in training young dragons who wish to go to serve Plaguebringer.

Hamate, known to some of the younger clan members affectionately as 'Hammy', is a structured leader who is picky about who else she allows into the clan. Her best friend is Theodora, and the two have a tendency to sit and joke around like a couple of youngsters.

Originally from a clan near the center of The Twisting Crescendo in The Windswept Plateau, she never quite felt at home. She was scolded more than once for being too hard on her siblings, and was sent on walk-about to find a place where she felt she belonged. When she found her way to The Scarred Wasteland, she found there were many dragons that had colors similar to hers.

One benefit she finds to her coat is that it masks the color of blood very well in battle.

She was taken in by a pair of sweet but soft guardians who had recently seen their own children off to serve Plaguebringer, and they soon taught her all there was to know about the wasteland they called home.

Hamate was in love, and decided to stay. Training hard, she was first in the clan to reach the highest ranks in battle, and she was quickly made into clan leader. Malleus and Incus are, to this day, very much like parents to her, even though she is now larger than they are, and they maintain that her judgement is law for the clan.
