Ceres

Ceres is a minor deity of nature, earth, and fertility. He was worshiped during the spring when dragons, livestock, and beastclans are fertile, and again in the fall during the reaping of fruits and wheat.
Ceres was called down the Sorneith when 2 shadow dragons summoned him to fight the beast clans encroaching on their territory. When he refused, as the beastclans worship Ceres, they took control of him, and used him to kill the beast clans. When he broke free of their control, he killed them. This caused the spell the spell that held him to break, quite literally. Ceres could no longer ascend back to his plain.
Upset, Ceres became enraged at the life around him, and starting causing trouble. He caused overgrowth and death of plants in the shadow territory, killing the area. The shadowbinder used her magic to stop him momentarily, then send him for Flamecaller to take care of. The flamecaller gave Ceres to Phenteo to care for. He lives a sad life, deep in the burrows of Clan Pyralis, where his large room is strangled with plants.
Ceres only enjoys the company of Phenteo, and would let her be with him when times were bad, and soothe her.
It is Ceres job to remove any dragons fertility in the clan except a chosen few.
