Biography

lore brainstorming:
- was born scaleless and albino with thin but quick healing and astonishingly unusual transparent skin (along with quicker regeneration in general as well)
- was helped and cared for by the Necromender who helped figure out the best means for self care with their unique conditions. They also have a lot in common with being scaleless and the struggles that come with it.
- Rawhide's crystal clear transparent skin was also coveted by the Necromender for the unique opportunity to be able to study and observe the the muscles and other internal workings of dragon anatomy with the additional extremely rare instance of a still living, healthy, and thriving subject, meaning being able to see the inner workings of the body while everything was still in perfect operation (and without having to resort to only using post-mortem dissection after special plague-magic based preservation methods are cast on the body to stop the process of decay to allow healers and medics to be able to learn without causing any harm to unwilling subjects or non-consenting cadavers. Dragons of all flights can volunteer to donate their body to study after death with the medics in the same way we can donate to science irl, which means their pool of resources is fairly low, so they are grateful for any opportunities for medical education as they refuse to do so using controversial or disrespectful methods, despite it being an unfortunately very easy option for the plague flight).
- eventually learned that a major advantage with their abnormalities was that they could grow and launch an endless supply of bone spikes from their body without the obstacle of scales in the way, with more flexibility and ease with both general movement and agility, as well as firing said bone spikes as projectile weapons (where they would endlessly regenerate akin to how shark's teeth do).
- however they are still rather vulnerable to overexposure to different temperatures and sunlight, however their quick healing and easy shin shedding helps to counteract these issues to a degree.
