I'm a traveller. I've been to every domain, but the Shifting Expanse is my favorite. Maybe it's because when I'm here I can feel the electricity in my veins and the power of the Stormcatcher in my heart. Maybe it's because I was born here.
I hate the highlands. I hate anywhere that's too quiet. I prefer action and adventure and danger to a boring life of peace. Maybe that's why my mother hated me so much. She fought so hard for the "peace" that I hate. So when I grew strong enough I ran from this place and never looked back.
I wonder if my mother thinks about me sometimes or if she's forgotten, like everyone else. I wonder if she ever had another clutch and gave me the siblings I always wanted. I wonder if I would have hated this place as much if I had another hatchling to share it with.
I've always been alone. But now is my homecoming.
