All life springs some something at its core. Some believe in the lands and the trees that reach to the skies, other the rotting flesh and decay of death. Light fights shadow. Water and fire dance among themselves. ice and the earth shape landscapes. Lightning and wind battle over the skies, but what of those under the banner of the Arcane? Well, knowledge is their weapon, and their rival.

True knowledge is power. Once one understands the world, their abilities become limitless.

"They say there is something older than dragons, and older than time. A being that the gods feared. The beastclans refer to it as the Greater One. No one truly knows what its intentions are, or how they pick their disciples. Is their passing of knowledge and future-sight a blessing of truth, or a curse of madness. Only some have lived to tell the tale, and even fewer are able to string coherent sentences. Does this being really exist, or are they just a boogeyman's tale to keep dragons in their place?"

DEAD WALKING

____It is said that long ago, While the gods shaped the land, other dragons were birthed from excess power. Some rose to replace these deities, while others lay dormant. There were rumors once of a land that existed under each kingdom, a land of the dead. Each flight made their attempt to learn about it. Some honored it, treating this land with respect, while others dismissed it as a folktale. Some, centered their lives around it.

There was no name for this group, not together or the families that bore them. But others have called them the Dead-Walking. It's said that they are all living, but their souls are tethered to that other land. Should they face their demise, their body may be returned to the soil, but their soul and spirit will spring forth and continue on the path they had set. They refuse to let mortal lifespans get in the way of what they have planned. As for what the may have planned...
