Biography
In his early days as a grown Ghost dragon, Corvus had a vision of himself as a Skydancer. He was dazzled by his wings, now crowned by shimmering plumage, and the way the elegant shape of his nose complimented his deep blue eyes. Since that dream, the young dragon felt a deep desire to change his appearance, and took to studying magic to further his goal.
Even so, his clan looked at his attempts with scorn. They felt his calling as a Guardian was far more important than his bizarre fantasies, and his duty to the young ones in the clan called for his robust physique to be trained to a warrior's full potential. Increasingly unhappy with the expectations of his clan, Corvus left with his Mirror brother Wisp.
Though many non-Ghost clans found the brothers' appearance ghastly, they were welcomed without hesitation by Bernadette's outcasts. They were excited to meet Obsidian, a gorgeous Skydancer dragoness who happened to share their Ghost heritage and their colors. She took them under her protection and, over time, became Wisp's beloved mate. Once a trader and always a hoarder, Obsidian had been interested in magic for a time, and she freely offered Corvus an old scroll that was forgotten somewhere among her belongings.
Corvus had finally found the spell he had been looking for. Glowing with happiness in his splendid new form, he excelled in his endeavors and became the clan's leader Mage. He found love not long after, when Colombe, a Skydancer dragoness similar to him in all except wing color, came along and joined the clan.
The Ghost brothers now live happily with their companions, and Corvus accompanies his warrior friends to the farthest reaches of Sornieth's hunting grounds.
