Mourner has a sad name, is big even for other guardians, and has a stoic resting face -you would expect him to be a loner and somewhere on the darker side of morality, but you couldn't be more wrong! Mourner is a sweetheart of a giant. Now, he does keep to his image at least a little ! He speaks in a slightly more formal way, and is always respectful to those older than him. And he does tend to lurk in corners -but that's really because crowded places can be overwhelming.

But really, most of all, Mourner loves to help around with anything that needs done, and even more than that, Mourner loves to tease the little ones. Be they literal hatchlings or other dragons -and yes, even the ones that are bigger than him fall under the little ones category-, Mourner always has some joke or tease ready. It's no wonder that he takes so well to hatchlings, and he naturally took over their classes -mainly ones relating to history (which Mourner does know quite a lot about), or the basic subjects. Despite that, Mourner can be quite awkward at times, and puts his foot in his mouth when flustered for any reason.
