This young Ridgeback was going to be just like any other lightning touched youth of her clutch. However, days before she hatched a rare Red Lightning storm tore through the Shifting expanse. A storm only seen once every 200 years, said to produce hatchlings wicked with the force of red lightning that rips through all it can touch. Vermillion was just so lucky, or unlucky, to be touched by this red lightning before hatching.
