Second place in everything. Left-hand woman of Nyrenix instead of the right-hand man. Almost the strongest of Mother's Gaze outside of the matriarch, except Savorda exists. Almost the smartest, save that Yefrem exists. Can't even call herself the prettiest because of Flaym. Extremely bitter about all of these things, as well as the fact that she feels Nyrenix is wasting her time and neglecting her clan by pursuing a dragon who, from the sounds of how things are going, is going to end up killed by some Shade horror in the next decade anyway. Has started convincing herself that Nyrenix doesn't care about Mother's Gaze at all, and that Savorda is not worthy to be the leader. Says seditious things quite frequently and then has to cover her tracks. Training in secret to challenge Savorda for dominance, and maybe even one day challenge Nyrenix herself. Closest friend is Cynara who, while less angry and open about it, is concerned about the way things are going. The difference is that Cynara knows that Nyrenix has a reasonable daughter who could be a good leader, while Dirge wants leadership all to herself.
