Vryo stumbled upon the Asphodel Clan in a daze, stunned silent and with a permanent frost braided into her coarse fur. Extremely skilled in herbology, she stuck with the clan through their first winter, providing necessary medicinal help to ill dragons.

After a short time, she met Ecco in the Frigid Floes; the only dragon capable of understanding her slurring, non-standard utterances. Lost in Draconian translation, somewhere, is knowledge of Vryo's family before entering the Asphodel Meadows.

While studying in the field, she actively searched out Onyx Cobras in order to become infected with Gembond. She wishes to study its growth patterns and symptoms and attempt to create a cure-all to aid other inflicted dragons. “For medicine,” she says to herself, because no one can freaking understand her.
