Biography

Founding dragon for thev Gigantactis Leviathans subspecies
Variant subspecies Creator:
LittleWatty
Original subspecies creator: yukitsukihana

This variety of Leviathans live alongside their counterparts in the deepest recesses of the Leviathan Trench, where the light from the sun has long since faded. They are a highly predatory species of Leviathan, using the glowing photophores on their bodies to hunt instead of guiding those that may find themselves lost in the dark. They are not a danger to fellow dragons - normally. It is not uncommon for Gigantactis Leviathans to pose as a guiding light and use that opportunity to ambush larger fish species. Their sight is poor from the lack of sunlight and with their preferred diets consisting of fish... they may not look twice before striking an under water target.

When strange underwater currents or geologic events force the Gigantactis to shallower waters, they find themselves having an extremely difficult time hunting without being able to use their photophores. But being natural predators they move much faster than their counterparts and are able to snatch and grab slower moving crustaceans that have a harder time escaping the large teeth of the Leviathans. Any clan hoping to coax a Gigantactis into their lairs will do well to earn their trust with ample food stores.
