Azuki is something of a prince. He’s been spoiled since he was only a hatchling, and lives to flaunt his gorgeous colors. He commissions any artist he meets to paint a portrait of him, and hangs all of them on the walls of his lair. If questioned, he says he’s merely a patron of the arts; nothing so tacky as a narcissist.

His clan members know the truth, however. Azuki is, in fact, a narcissist, and an endearingly sweet one at that. Despite his penchant for spending more money on portraits and nice clothing than any other dragon they know, Azuki enjoys spoiling his friends. He’s been known to buy random presents, usually because he has no idea when anybody’s hatchday is, and just showers them in gifts in the hopes that a) it might be their birthday or b) he missed their birthday, so this ought to make up for it.

Azuki may be annoyingly in love with himself, but he’s got a heart, like a lot of his accessories, of pure gold. He’ll never turn away a dragon in need, and often goes looking for ways to show how much he cares. He is incredibly talented at crocheting, and has been known to “anonymously” hand out his creations by leaving them on the doorsteps of other dragons. Everybody who knows Azuki knows he was the one to leave the gifts, but they pretend not to in order to spare his pride.
