These small mammals are most commonly found in Australia and New Zealand. They do not migrate and spend their lifespan in one place year round. These guys diet habits range from foraging on land to eating small fish under water as they are considered extremely good divers.
These penguins breed for the first time when they are around 2-3 years old and can raise up to two chicks per breeding season. Most of the male and female pairs do choose life-long partners and the male typically revamps the nest each year for the incoming nesting season. The eggs that are in one clutch are hatched separately between 2-3 days.
