BIOGRAPHY

The largest dragon among Lalette's band of rogues, Antumbra may initially seem to be an odd fit. She is not dexterous or stealthy in the slightest, and is extremely passive. Her vibrant colors and sharp patterns only draw attention to her among the trees of the Tangled Wood. However, Antumbra's associates joke that she should've been a nature dragon - a sentiment with which Antumbra wholeheartedly agrees. She cares greatly for the plants she animates, referring to them as her babies. This often makes other Shadow dragons rather uncomfortable, and her animated plants are often crushed by dragons who suspect they're up to something.

Antumbra's plant familiars act as the main guardians and fodder of the thieves, as well as acting as an extra couple hands where needed. The Banescale is deeply unsettled by the lack of care Lalette shows for her precious creations, but recognizes that her plants help to keep her employed. Still, she would always rather be often caring for them rather than using them for risky and dangerous business. Her lack of enthusiasm for her work leaves Antumbra consistently drained, sopping, and pitiable.

BIOGRAPHY

Antumbra doesn't make friends; her depressive mood and slow speech leave others to view her as exceedingly boring. Antumbra isn't all that concerned with making friends; she secretly seethes when confronted with small talk from those who use her babies as meat shields. She has some animosity with Trystram, and the two prefer to avoid one another wherever possible. Though she would never admit it, Antumbra despises Lalette, and would jump at the chance to leave her employer's service behind.

Due to her aloof nature, Antumbra never speaks on diplomatic outings, but her plants are often sold to Sundry's Refuge. The Banescale often notes that her familiars seem much happier in the peaceful Refuge located in the Sunbeam Ruins than they often are in the gloom of the Tangled Wood. Antumbra has secretly been saving up her meagre payments of treasure, and often dreams about moving to the Refuge as soon as she can.
