PROGENITOR | CAPTAIN | FATHER

Reedsong

Hatched alone in a deafening windstorm, Hurricane has never known fear, for better or for worse. He has lived on the coasts all his life, riding on waves carved up by the Windsinger and digging up treasures washed ashore. With his loyal Phytocat, Reedsong, by his side, there was nowhere Hurricane would not explore. Reedsong was always the more careful of the two, being the voice of reason whenever he was able. No matter the size of Beast, the spiny dragon met the challenge with a grin and a cry of, "En guarde," and Reedsong fell into line beside him.

One day when he was exploring a sandbar, he saw the most beautiful treasure of all drifting on the sea breeze just above the lagoon. He abandoned his treasure hunt and leaped upon his ship to chase the Pearlcatcher. When she noticed him, she challenged him and his strange sea-bound craft. If he could catch her, she would give him her pearl. Mustarchup, as he learned she was called, led him up and down the coast and finally inland to a thick bamboo forest where she ambushed him with a cry of victory. Hurricane claimed that the contest was not fair since they left the boundaries of the sea and Mustarchup conceded.

We all know that a Pearlcatcher cannot part with her pearl and Hurricane knew that too as he accepted her concession. Mustarchup stayed by his side from that day on, more precious than any jewel.

Hurricane leads his Flight, the Winds of Change from a large seaside cliff with his wily sea wife.
