Biography

Bat Falcon
Lifespan: 12-18 years
Diet: Carnivore/Insectavore

Max Speed: 186MPH when stooping or diving

These small birds are most commonly found in Mexico, Central, and South America. They are usually solitary birds aside from breeding season. Bat falcons commonly communicate with each other through visual and vocal indications.
They typically only mate with one partner and the female will usually lay 2-3 brown eggs in their nest. The incubation period is 4-7 weeks and they become independent after hatching around 35-40 days.
