born in firefell in lava pitdied- mianar revived w/""magic""
- was in a replacement body for a bit
- lived that way for a long heckin time
- ironically had lots of skill with medicine so she was a doctor for a while
- through additional ""magic"" regained her original body
- has no memories from prior to replacement body and most of her memories from being in the replacement body are gone
- retained her skills somehow
- treats mianar like a mom
- a geriatric, batshit bonkers mom
- works several jobs: lead medic at Badend clinic, pastry chef, keeps bees as a side gig
- has zero empathy
- but lots of compassion
- she doesn't understand your problems and emotions but dammit she's gonna make you honey snacks until you feel better or she's gonna die trying
- speaking of dying, she has zero self-preservation instincts, probably because she already died once
No dragon in Anville has a story that's quite the status quo, and Fran is no stranger to this fact.
Fran was born in the Ashfall Wastes, in a small province not far from Anville's borders. She had no siblings in her nest, no one to temper her adventurous tendencies and bratty, spoilt ways. Even from her earliest days, her parents never could get her to listen, to heed their warnings to not stray far from the nest. The lava pool where her egg hatched was enchanted, as all such nests are, to prevent the hatchings from being seared alive, while nearby lava pits may spell their demise. Typically, parents tell this to their children, and Fran's parents did their diligence in doing so.
If only Fran had listened.
Clumsy claws scrabbled across roughly strewn pyroclastic rocks that littered the landscape so near to the volcanoes.
